About Awakening

As we walk this earth, we have been exposed to many diverse perspectives throughout our lives. We have lived as children, parents, siblings, friends, spouses, entrepreneurs, leaders....and in most cases, everything we have done has been with love and without expectations of gratitude. We have continuously multi-tasked, accomplished the impossible, sacrificed ourselves for those we love, become extremely creative to meet ever pending needs, and emerged victorious...yet not fully satisfied. Many of us who have tried to live a genuine life giving everything we can have come to a place where we feel something is missing. We can't quite put our finger on it, but we know there must be something else to make us feel "complete." As we end our daily roles, as we finally sit with ourselves at the conclusion of a successful day, there is a part of us that begins to search. Many times we do not know where to start, what to do, what role models to follow...and with time this search becomes a deep cry for attention...attention to our soul!

In the present we have come to realize that we are not limited to our humanness, and that rather than viewing ourselves as a human having ephemeral spiritual experiences, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Our wisdom is much greater than that of our human world, provided we remember our soul essence and accept the true nature of our being. This is not a dogma or a religion, but rather a way of life...a way to search and eventually fulfill that missing part by opening our hearts and minds, by having the desire to explore beyond boundaries set forth by our external world and delving into the magnificence of our own internal garden. The rewards are infinite, including feeling complete, powerful, peaceful and free.

Why Now?

Our Earth is changing, and the Cultural Revolution that is upon us leaves us with the following choice: we either actively participate in shaping our new world or we continue being a part of a model of destruction, war and exploitation. According to American Lives, Inc.—an opinion polling company—there are 50 million people in the United States who are sparking social transformation... people who have broken out of the cultural trance and are creating effective change in the world. This is at least 20% of the total population of the United States, and similar percentages are emerging in other countries around the globe. They call us Cultural Creatives. We are approaching great change in this time of globalization, accelerating technologies and a deteriorating planetary ecology. According to Peter Drucker, "Every few hundred years in Western history there occurs a sharp transformation. Within a few short decades, society—its world view, its basic values, its social and political structures, its arts, its key institutions—rearranges itself. And the people born then cannot even imagine a world in which their grandparents lived and into which their own parents were born. We are currently living through such a transformation." The Cultural Creatives certainly offer a more hopeful future and a healthier, wiser culture...one that lives in harmony with each other and with the world around them.

Are you ready to find your soul and listen to its longings? Are you ready to access your own Inner Teacher and Divine light so that you can make all decisions from the perspective of your Higher Self? Are you ready to walk with truth, beauty and lightness through life? The time is ripe for us to find our own internal wisdom and to build upon our Divine connection through awareness and purity of intent.
